Alpha is now running all around
the world and is widely publicised in
England
. But what is Alpha?
Alpha is a practical introduction to the Christian faith.
It is open to all – especially those with no previous church background
– who want to explore in a relaxed atmosphere, questions such as:
Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus
die? Why and How should I read the
Bible? Many have found Alpha a real
help along their personal journey of faith.
If you are interested – or know someone who may be
– a new Alpha Course is being run in
January 2011
The Alpha Course
will be launched at an Alpha Supper at
7.30 p.m.
on Saturday 15th January 2011 at
St. Paul
’s Church Centre,
Novi Lane
. The Course will run on Wednesday
evenings at
7.45 p.m.
in St. Luke’s Church Centre,
Fountain Street
, starting on Wednesday 19th January, 2011.
Coming to the Alpha Course Supper in no way commits you to embarking on
the course itself!
